ambient light- the light surrounding an environment or subject,
direct light diffuser- A light in which evenly shows a clear light on a certain place
luminosity- The brightness of a light
energy efficiency- The amount of energy used in a period of time which is efficient and useful
watts- Amount of power in a circuit.
3.Comment on Global warming
Global warming is when the earth heats up and the temperature rises which causes greenhouse gases that makes the temperature rise. The global warming makes the animals, plants etc not being able to live with the new change so they die. Global warming is caused by pollution or electricity pollution a way to stop electricity pollution is to turn light switches off when not using them, not to use objects that waste too much power.
4. How can the modern home become more energy efficient with regard to lighting?
With the strong awareness of global warming people are starting to make energy saving lights with takes a large percentage of energy used. An example of lights that use less energy is florescent lights, they are a light bulb that is made to use less energy and still work as efficient as an average light bulb.
5. Research a modern-day lighting designer and comment on their contribution to the design world.
James Clar
James Clar is a media artist whos work is a fusion of technology, popular culture, and visual information. James’s early work was his focus on the middle east 2007 on technology shift and media affect. As a American working in Dubi his light work had a dramatic and positive change which made him a well known light designer. His work was very popular and he also worked in eyebeam atelier in New York, Fabrica in Italy, and FedEX instituted of technology/Lantana Projects in Memphis. His art work was also in the Chanel mobile art exhibition in Tokyo and Louis vitton gallery in Hong Kong, but these are only a few of the places he has shown his amazing work.
